Our Historic building evaluation services combine the art and engineering of historic construction with the science and experience of modern investigation techniques. We guide design teams and building owners with interpretation of historic building deficiencies based on our experience and knowledge of archaic materials and construction methods. We have successfully corrected failures in attachments, material surfaces, and exterior finish systems. Peter Meijer Architect, PC focuses on the specialized requirements of historic properties. We coordinate, conduct, and manage our clients' technical consulting services by providing on-site investigations, design guidance, and techincal advice. Our services are retained throughout the building process from initial conceptual investigation of the exterior envelope to interior paint chromochronology testing and specification writing.
